At this time I don't know if this is valid. In 1900 Emma was in Louisville, Kentucky with her sons, and Loyd was living as a border in Russellville, Logan County, Kentucky. I think they just divorced but this is the story my grandfather told us.

He married #1-Elzada James on March 4, 1912 in Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana. He married #2-Cecile Marie Hutton in 1917 in Indianapolis, Marion, Indiana.
She later married Ellis M. Carter before 1900, I have not found the date of their marriage.
Emma received the pension from Loyd Goodwin's Civil War service after his death to support his two minor sons.
