Emmazetta had an unusual name, but it was her grandmother's middle name. She went by Emma but was affectionately called "Grandma Carter".

Emma married first to Thomas Neal on October 25, 1885.

Children of Thomas Neal & Emmazetta Frances Kinslow:

►1. Nora Gertrude Neal born February 4, 1887 in Bowling Green, Warren County, Kentucky.
►2. William Houston "Willie" Neal born February 14, 1889 in Warren County, Kentucky.

She married second to Loyd Goodwin on June 20, 1890 who abandoned her shortly after the birth of two sons, Walter Elwood Goodwin and John Noah Curtis Goodwin. At this time I don't know if this is valid. In 1900 Emma was in Louisville, Kentucky with her sons, and Loyd was living as a border in Russellville, Logan County, Kentucky. I think they just divorced but this is the story my grandfather told us.

Children of Lloyd Goodwin & Emezetta Frances "Emma" Kinslow:

►1. Walter Elwood Goodwin born August 10, 1891 in Bowling Green, Warren County, Kentucky and died October 31, 1918 in Indianapolis, Marion, Indiana. He married Ruth May on December 24, 1910 in Indianapolis, Marion, Indiana.
►2. John Noah Curtis Goodwin born February 29, 1893 in Bowling Green, Warren County, Kentucky and died October 29, 1918 in Indianapolis, Marion, Indiana. He married #1-Elzada James on March 4, 1912 in Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana. He married #2-Cecile Marie Hutton in 1917 in Indianapolis, Marion, Indiana.

She later married Ellis M. Carter before 1900, I have not found the date of their marriage.

Emma received the pension from Loyd Goodwin's Civil War service after his death to support his two minor sons.
