NAMPA — Graveside services for Miss Opal C. Wendlick, 63, Nogales, Ariz., who died Friday
in Nogales, will be conducted at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens at 1:30 p.m. Thursday by the
Rev. Ernest E. Wilson of the First United Methodist Church. There will be no cortege.
Friends may gather at the cemetery. Interment will be directed by Flahiff Funeral Chapel.

Miss Wendlick was born May 20, 1908, at Hartville Junction, Wyo. She was a teacher in
Glenns Ferry for three years and at Wilder for two years. She instructed physical
education classes at Nampa Junior High School from 1938 to 1943, and at Nampa High School
from 1945 to 1949. She served with the Women's Air Force from 1943 to 1945, and attained
the rank of sergeant. She moved to Nogales in 1949, and was a physical education
instructor until seven years ago. She since had been a student counselor.
Miss Wendlick is survived by a brother, Raymond Wendlick, of Rockford, Ill.
Services were conducted Tuesday in Nogales. (Thanks Dan Fowler)
