FILLMORE, UTAH -Verna Beck Nichols, left her earthly life into the loving arms of our father May 17, 2005.
She was born on July 12, 1922 in Alpine, Utah to James Henry and Buena Ethel Healey Beck. She married Max B. Nichols on August 21, 1948 in Alpine, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on March 20, 2000.
Verna is survived by her children, Beckey (Glen), Lester (Penny), Valery (Tom), Tena and Robin (Paul); 16 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; one brother, William LeGay (Lois) Beck of Alpine, Utah; two sisters, Carla (Richard) Shepherd of Ammon, Idaho and Merla (Leo) Reimschiissel of American Fork, Utah.
Funeral services will be Friday, May 20, 2005 at 12 noon at the Fillmore LDS Stake Center, 21 South 300 West, Fillmore. With visitation from 11to 11:45 a.m. Friday at the Stake Center.
Interment will be in the Fillmore City Cemetery under the direction of Olpin Southern Utah Mortuary. The family of Verna Nichols would like to thank Dr. Jackson, the nurses and staff at the Fillmore Hospital.
