Dr. Richard David Crumley, 56, of Normal, Ill., died Aug. 22, in Manzini, Swaziland (Africa), where he was assisting in developing a new primary curriculum.
He earned his doctorate degree from the University of Chicago in 1955 and was on the staff of the Illinois State University.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Louise Stanhagen Crumley; daughter, Miss Catherine Crumley, in Manzini with her parents; son, William of Normal, Ill.; brother, Paul Cruumley, Rt. 6 Lancaster; sister, Mrs. Carl (Margurite) House, Athens.
Arrangements will be announced by Taylor Funeral Home, Amanda.
