DIED - REIS [sic] - At his home on East South street Monday, October 14th, 1918, of pneumonia, Mr. Anton Ries, aged 37 years and 17 days.
Deceased was born in the town of Lomira, in September 1880. On Sept. 27, 1902, he was united in marriage with Miss Anna Gruber of the Town of Leroy, daughter of Mrs. and the late Joseph Gruber of this city. For one year after their marriage resided at Knowles after which they moved to this city where they have resided ever since. While in this city he was employed at the Malleable shops and also at the Malleable Iron Range Company.
He is survived by his wife, three sons, Joseph, Leo and Osmond, of this city, two brothers, Peter and John Ries of the Town of Leroy, two sisters, Mrs. August Sterr and Mrs. Peter Breit of Lomira, and his mother, Mrs. Helen Ries, also of Lomira.
