picture at rightfrom an email from findagrave contributor Bobbie Scott #47462062: I have sponsored many of my ancestors in Find a Grave. One is my Uncle Dempsey Allphin, who served in WW II, and was a friend of Ollie Ernest Barringer, JR (better known as Sonny). I do not know alot about that friendship, not sure just when they met.....but, in my mother's box of thousands of pictures I found a picture with the name of Sonny Barrington on back (the picture also has his signature). With the help of another uncle, who also knew Sonny and his sister Kathleen (Memorial #39536340 buried at Earthman), I have determined that this must be Ollie, Jr. (Memorial #71984366 buried at Earthman Cemetery in Houston).Their parents are buried in same cemetery.
