Richard "Rick" Lebron Boyd, 52, of Cleveland, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 30, 2010. He was the son of the late Earl William Boyd and Mary Frances Boyd. He was a Veteran of the U. S. Navy and had worked for over 25 years as a pipefitter for sprinkler systems. He had most recently been employed with Double D Piping in Cleveland, TN. He attended South Cleveland Church of God and was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother.
Survivors include his wife, Angie Boyd; three children: Nichole Guinn, Alisha Tinsley and Tommy Calfee, all of Cleveland, TN; seven grandchildren: Natalie, Blake and Conner Guinn, Zach and Jacob Tinsley, Hannah and Mallory Calfee; brother, Bill Boyd of Chattanooga, TN; sister, Cissy Boyd Edgeman of Rossville, GA; brother, Earl Boyd; his beloved grandmother, Ida Mae Moore Johnson, both of Chattanooga, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga, TN.
