I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
II Timothy 4:7-8
Mrs Rosie Triplett Hunt, the fourth child of Mr. and Mrs. Moses Triplett, was born October 8, 1891 in Noxubee County, Mississippi.
She departed this life on June 24, 1995 at 11:15 p.m at Montfort Jones Memorial Hospital in Kosciusko, Mississippi.
"Mama Rose", as she was affectionately called, was educated in the public school of Noxubee County.
At an early age, she became a member of a Methodist Church in Noxubee County.
She was united in holy matrimony to the late Reverend S. L. Hunt, and to this union ten (10) children were born. Four (4) children preceded her in death.
Upon moving to Kosciusko, Mrs. Hunt became a member of Christian Liberty M.B. Church where she attended regularly until her health began to fail.
Mrs. Hunt, Christian Liberty's oldest member, was loved by all who knew her. Her radiant smile and quiet ways endeared young and old to her. She will be greatly missed by the members of her church, as well as her many friends.
