Coyle, Patrick G. Sr.
Albany, NY: 94 a resident of the Teresian House formerly of Rochester and Syracuse entered into eternal rest of Monday, June 20, 2011. He was born on March 14, 1917 in Harrisburg, PA and was the son of the late Howard J. and Anna Maria Harle Coyle. He was a WWII U.S. Navy Veteran serving aboard the S.S. James M. Wayne. Patrick was employed as a professor at the Rochester Institute of Technology National Technical Institute for the Deaf; he previously was employed by Baush and Lomb.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his wife; Bertha Wix Coyle. Survivors include his loving children; Michael (Kathleen) Coyle of Rocky Hill, CT., Patrick G. Coyle, Jr. of San Diego, CA., Judith (Jay) Schrock of Clifton Park and Jesse (Michael) Chandler of Columbus, OH., one brother Howard J. Coyle III, of Harrisburg, PA., five grandchildren; Christina, Tamara, Patrick, Darren and Lucy, one great grandchild, Molly. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be held at the Teresian House, June 27, 2011 at 11 AM. Burial with military honors will be held in the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville. At the request of the family memorials in Patrick's name may be made to the Teresian House Foundation 200 Washington Avenue Ext., Albany, NY 12203. Arrangements have been entrusted by the family to the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home 1550 Route 9 Clifton Park, New York 12065.
