After graduating from the University of Colorado, Boulder, Colorado, Beverly's love for travel was re-ignited and she became a Flight Attendant for United Airlines. When United had a massive layoff, Beverly chose to become a Continental flight attendant. She transferred her flying domicile to Honolulu, Hawaii and flew trips to Australia, and New Zealand for several years.
In the mid 80's, Beverly returned to the Mainland and continued her flying career out of Denver, Colorado. She preferred to fly to London, but Paris was her 2nd favorite destination.
As a strong, loving Christian woman, Beverly went to be with her Lord on June 7, 2010 leaving behind her beloved daughter Muriel Braddy born March, 1966 and husband, Robert L. Adkins; her parents, Albert and Essie Armstrong; her brothers Dr. Albert V. (Lita) Armstong Jr. of Miami FL; LCDR Christopher A. Armstrong, US Navy, Tampa, FL; niece of Madeline Way, Ocie Armstrong and Willie Armstrong and a host of first cousins, two nephews, other relatives and many, many flying friends.
On October 8, 2010 services for Beverly were held at The Potter's House of Denver, 9498 E. Florida Ave., Aurora, Colorado. Interment was at Fort Logan Cemetery.
Her brother, Christopher Anthony ("Tony") Armstrong (1962-2018) is located at # 187176068
