Services Slated For E.E. Terry
Services for Ellsworth E. "Shorty Gordon" Terry, 51, of 7308 S Douglas, operator of Gordon's Auto Salvage Co., will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Immanuel Baptist Church, Moore, with burial in Resthaven Cemetery directed by Vondel L. Smith Mortuary. He died Sunday in a Purcell hospital.
Terry, who had lived in Oklahoma City more than 40 years, was a founder and a vice president of the Kansas-Oklahoma-Texas-Louisiana Teletype Circuit. He had been in the salvage business more than 30 years in Oklahoma City, was a member of the Oklahoma Auto Wreckers' Association and the Indiana Avenue Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Alice G.; a daughter, Mrs. Michael Seabolt, Moore; a son, Ezra A. "Sonny," 9908 S Harvey; three brothers, Leroy E. and Gerald D., both of Washington, Okla., and Nolan G., Rose Sharon, Texas; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Amason, Lake Jackson, Texas; Miss Faye Terry, 1353 SW 60, and Mrs. Doris Bergeron, Orange, Texas, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Therlow G. Terry, Goldsby.
