Dale was born on June 30, 1938 in Nampa, Idaho, to Loran and Frieda Jordan. He was one of nine brothers and sisters.
He served as a volunteer fireman in McCall and in Emmett.
Some of his vocations included drywall; well drilling; insurance, and he owned Jordan's Cherry Bowl … he loved bowling, a pastime that he and his wife, Judy enjoyed together for over 45 years.
He later retired and spent lots of time in his woodshop, building birdhouses and other items for family and friends.
He married Judy, his wife of 45 years, and together they raised four children: Kim (Terry) Aman, Darren (Debbie) Crays, Shannon (Steph) Crays, and Donald Jordan. He has 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren whom he loved. He enjoyed time with family, playing games and joking around.
He is survived by his family aforementioned; two sisters, Blanche Bieckle and Lela Jordan, and one brother, Mearl Jordan.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, June 27, at Potter Funeral Chapel in Emmett, with interment to follow at 2 p.m., at Hillcrest Memorial Garden in Caldwell. Viewing will be held at Potters Funeral Chapel from 1 to 6 p.m., on Sunday with family present from 4 to 6 p.m.
A Dale Jordan Memorial Fund has been set up at all US Bank branches to help cover medical expenses.
