DAVENPORT -- Funeral services for Pamela S. Staggs, 48, Davenport, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at McGinnis, Chambers & Sass Funeral Home, Bettendorf. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Staggs died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2000, at Genesis Medical Center-West Campus, Davenport, after a brief illness.
Pamela Coon was born June 24, 1951, in Clinton, the daughter of Russell and Evelyn (Hunnicutt) Coon. She married John K. Staggs on Oct. 1, 1966, in Davenport.
Pam was employed as an office manager at M & K Industries, Davenport, for the past 10 years.
Among the things she enjoyed were traveling, camping, fishing, bowling, country western music and especially her beloved grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Survivors include her husband, John a daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Brian Williams, Davenport; a son and daughter-in-law, Kenny and Becky Staggs, Davenport; a son, John J. Staggs, Davenport, and his special friend, Lori Williams; eight grandchildren; her mother, Evelyn Coon, Davenport; a sister, Rhody Baker, East Moline; and brothers, Joe Turner, Davenport, David Coon, Rock Island, Carl Coon, Davenport, and Doug Coon, Davenport.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathy, and her father, Russell.
