As a part of the Carlton Macy stock company of Cleveland, Ohio, she worked on stages from New York City to San Francisco. At age 20, she relocated to California as a member of Blackwood Stock company of Los Angeles to become a leading woman and married actor Lewis Stone. Her only film appearance was in "A Most Immortal Lady" (1929). She died in Los Angeles, California.
