Mr. Due was born July 4, 1907 in Trinity County, Texas to the late Robert and Maggie (Kendrick) Due and died Saturday, July 8, 2000 in a Lufkin nursing home.
He had been a resident of Lufkin and Trinity County most of his life and was retired from LaTourneau Industries. He served in the U S Army during WW II and was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church.
He is survived by:

-Charles Ray and Lois Due
-Merron and Betty Jo Due
Son, Elbert Due
Daughters and sons-in-law,
-Shirley and J. T. Hambrick
-Maurine (Jo) and Kenneth Birdsong
-Sue and James white
Daughter, Linda Sheridan
Twenty-one grandchildren; forty-seven great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren
Sisters, Mondina Odom and Julie Redd
Mr. Due was preceded in death by his wife, Stella Due in 1995.
Pallbeauers will be his grandsons.
