Cannon E. Aslin, 59, was dead on arrival at an Alexandria hospital. A resident here, he was an engineer with the Texas & Pacific Railroad.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Edna Caudle Aslin of Alexandria; a son, Cannon E. Aslin Jr. of Tucson, Ariz.; two daughters, Mrs. Annie West of Pineville, and Mrs. Kay Ingalls of Humble, Tex.; two brothers, Joe Aslin of Los Angeles, Calif., and Troy Aslin of Magnolia, Ark.; a sister, Mrs. Hester Taylor of Camden, Ark., and six grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements were incomplete Saturday night. They will be under the direction of Hixson Bros.
