He was a native of Macclenny and had resided in Macclenny most of his life. He was the former manager of North Florida Concrete of Macclenny, and was the former owner of Lowery Building Supply of Macclenny for over 11 years. He was a member of Raiford Road Church of Macclenny, FL.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Elizabeth Ann Sweat Lowery; three daughters, Cheryl (Scott) Nunn, Elaine (Johnny) Kirkland and Lorraine (Mark) Norman; one son, Brian (Tanya) Lowery; 13 grandchildren and one greatgrandson all of Macclenny FL; his parents, Annie Mae and G. D. Lowery of Glen St. Mary, FL; one sister, Bonnie (Frank) Griffis; one brother, Mark (Angela) Lowery; and many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews all of Macclenny, FL.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2PM Thursday, Mar. 14, in the Raiford Road Church with Mr. Eddie Griffis, officiating and assisted by Rev. D. L. Griffis. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Macclenny, FL.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9PM Wednesday, Mar. 13 , at GUERRY FUNERAL HOME, U.S. 90 East, Macclenny, FL.
