Woodrow served in the United States Army as a SSGT., in World War II and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal and the Purple Heart.
Mr. Blalock is survived by his wife, Irene (Lovell) Blalock.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emory Felton Blalock and Annie Ora (Smith) Blalock, sisters, Fay S. Blalock, Bessie (Blalock) Davis and Mary E. Blalock.
