Bob was born November 4, 1937 in Bois D'Arc, MO, to Wiley Bernard and Ova Olivia (Bishop) Berry.
He grew up near Olympia, MO and married Mae Williams on February 20, 1961. Together they raised four children in Ianthia, MO. Bob liked to fish and hunt and was a Jehovah's Witness. He owned and operated his own landscaping business before retiring. Bob was a loving husband, father, and grandpa.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years; two daughters, Venus and Vergil Stedman of Terre Hautte, IN, Olivia Stevens, Liberal, MO; a son Wiley and Lori Berry, Iantha, MO; three brothers, Ira and Pat Berry of Fair Play, MO, Clyde "Red" and Sylvia Berry of Lamar, Lewis Berry, of Ianthia, MO; two sisters, Mildred Kennon, of Springfield, MO and Alice and Bob Coffin of Upton, MA; 11 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Bobby Joe Berry; a brother Arch Berry; two sisters, Marie Criasia and Priscilla Conrad, and a granddaughter, Heather Mayes..
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 27, 2011 at Daniel Funeral Home with George Brown officiating. Burial will be in Ianthia Cemetery.
