She was born Jan. 26, 1918, in Cunningham to Curt and Gladys O'Neal. She attended school in Cunningham and attended Oral Roberts University in Tulsa. She married Otha Cook in Cunningham in 1933. They moved to Tulsa in 1944. He preceded her in death in 1997. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Lawrence O'Neal; and three sisters, Thelma O'Neal, Betty Clark and Jo Patman.
She is survived by one son, Vaughan Dean Cook, of San Antonio; three grandchildren, Tim Cook and wife, Jane, of Chesterfield, Mo., Tammy Farrington, of Grapevine and Jeff Cook, of Fillian, Ala.; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Paul O'Neal and wife, Juanita, of Malvern, Ark.; three sisters, Helen Ashford of Carlsbad, N.M., Ruth Tucker of Garland, and June Williams of Hugo, Okla.; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
