A funeral Mass for Stanley The Barber" Pawlak, 95, formerly of Holly Hill, Fla., will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, at St. Thomas Beckel Church, 1321 Burning Bush Lane, Mount Prospect, where he will iie in state from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass.
Born Sept. 28, 1903, in Kenosha, Wis., he died Tuesday, Sept. 7, 1999, at Abbington Nursing Home, Roselle. Interment will be in Maryhill Cemetery, Miles.
Mr. Pawlak was a self-employed master barber. He was the beloved husband of the late Pauline Pawlak (nee Sierawski) and the late Ada Pawlak (nee Baldwin); loving father of Val (JoAnne) Pawlak, Greg (Mary) Pawlak and Ursula (Emil) Sihocky; proud grandfather of Noel, Beth Pavvlak-Koneczny, Brenda and Scott (Robynn); great-grandfather of Collin; dear brother of Chester (the late Sophie) Pawlak, Victoria (the late Ted) Wandolowski and the late Mary, Helen, the Rev. Timothy, OFM, Joseph and Felix (Mary); and fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, at Malec & Sons Funeral Home, 6000 N. Milwaukee Ave., Chicago, IL 60641. In lieu of flowers, Mass offerings are preferred. For information. (773) 774-4100
