Richard Theodore Staggie, 61, of Boise, and formerly of Idaho Falls, died December 26, 2005, at St. Alphonsus Medical Center in Boise.

He was born April 21, 1944, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to LeRoy Staggie and Jane Ann Henry Staggie. He grew up and attended school in Idaho Falls.

In 1962, he married Dianne Walters in Idaho Falls. They were later divorced. In 1972, he married Connie Juso. Richard spent many years working with his father, LeRoy Staggie at the Rose Hill Cemetery.

He was a Christian.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and being in the outdoors.

He had a great sense of humor and loved his family, especially spending time with his grandchildren: Alex, Kayla, Andrew, Nicholos, Tanner, Shyanne, Bailey, and Derik.

He is survived by the following: spouse, Connie Staggie daughters: Stacie (Jim) Peabody, Debbie (Rustin) Hatch, and Heidi Staggie sons: Ricky Staggie, Joey Staggie, and Rod Staggie all of Boise 10 grandchildren sister, Alta (Larry) Simmons sister, Wilma (Max) Dumont brother, Jim (Lillian) Staggie brother, Bob (Diane) Staggie brother, Jack Staggie brother, Steve (Dena) Staggie

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Bill and David Staggie.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 30, 2005, at Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First St. in Idaho Falls. The family will visit with friends one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Cemetery in Idaho Falls.
