Mrs. Elizabeth Brandt one of the oldest residents of Eureka died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. M. Schmidt shortly before midnight on Wednesday from old age and general debility. Mrs. Brand was the mother of Jacob Brandt, Jr. who died at Salt Lake a few years ago and also the mother of Mrs. M Schmidt and Mrs. Frank Brohm of Eureka. The deceased also leaves another daughter Mrs. Catherina Kasal residing at Logan who has come to Eureka to attend the funeral of a large number of large number of grandchildren and other relatives.
The funeral service were conducted from the LDS Church at 1:30 O'clock today and the burial took place in the city cemetery under the direction of undertaker Wallace.
