Homer LaVor Anderson, 65, Garland, Utah, died Friday at an Ogden, Utah, hospital of natural causes.
He was born on February 20, 1906, at Bothwell, Utah, the son of Neils and Lena Jensen Anderson. He was raised and educated in Bothwell, Utah.
He married Hilda Sessions on August 14, 1924 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died on December 28, 1925.
He then married Lenore Evans on March 28, 1928, in Ogden, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple.
He lived in Bothwell and moved to Garland in 1937. He is a retired Heavy Equiptment Operator and also worked for the Box Elder County Road Department and for W W Clyde Construction Company.
He was an elder in the Garland Second LDS Ward.
Survivors include sons and daughters: Homer DeWayne (Joe) Anderson, Mrs (Carol Lee) Jensen, both of Brigham City, Utah; Alvin J Anderson, Perry, Utah; Mrs VOn (Hilda) Titensor, Afton, Wyoming; Mrs David Wayne (Beth) Williams, Rangley, Colorado; 15 grandchildren, five great-grandhchildren; step-mother, Mrs Alice Anderson, Brigham City, Utah; brothers and sisters: Ursel N Anderson, Mrs Lucille Forsberg, Mrs David (Shirley) Jones, all of Ogden, Utah; Calvin O Anderson, Kenneth L Anderson, Garland, Utah; Roland Anderson, Salt Lake City, Utah; Roscoe J Anderson and Virgil L Anderson, Bothwell, Utah; Lloyd Hust, Brigham City, Utah and Wayne Nick Anderson, Tremonton, Utah.
Burial was held in the Bothwell Cemetery, Bothwell, Utah.
