Excerpts of obituary:

Mrs. A. C. Bisbee, who has resided in this community for the past twenty-eight years, died Friday evening,July 21, 1916, following an operation in the Presbyterian Hospital in Omaha. Her death was due primarily to conditions existing prior to her injury, which weakened her to such an extent that she failed to rally.
Mary Chillana, second child of Aaron and Emily Rolfe, was born at Burnside, Webster Co., IA, Nov 16, 1865; and was at the day of her death, fifty years, seven months, and five days old.

She was united in marriage to Clayton Bisbee, March the 14th, 1889, in the home where she has resided these years in queenly grace, dignity and motherly love.
To this union were born ten children, (five sons and five daughters) as follows: Hattie, now Mrs. John Frain; Fern G.; Arthur C.; Gay W.; Bret B.; Aaron R.; Theodore R.; Vernon G.; Emma L.; and Eileen C.; all at home.

In early life she made special preparation at the Western Normal College, Shenandoah, Iowa, and engaged in teaching. Beginning at the age of 17 years, she followed her profession until a short time after marriage, having taught twenty-three terms in Webster and Pottawattamie Co's. She taught in the rural and town schools.

She leaves to mourn her demise, the loving husband, faithful and devoted children, aged mother, Mrs. Emily Rolfe, of Spokane, Wash., brothers and sisters as follows: Mrs. Hattie A. Cox, of Burnside, IA, W. A. and N. A. Rolfe, of Cheney, Wash., A. D. and Emma Rolfe, of Spokane, Wash.; other relatives and many friends.
