CITRA - Stella May Hamilton, 74, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2011 at her residence. She moved to Marion County eight years ago from Maryland and was a retired Secretary with the Federal government in Washington. She was an active supporter of Meals on Wheels, both here and in Maryland. Preceded in death by her husband, "Sly" Hamilton, she is survived by daughters, Vicki Willett, FL; Brenda Shiflett, FL; Ginger Byers, MD; son, George Michael Hamilton, TX; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 5:00PM Friday, June 24, 2011, at Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society , 2201 SE 30th Ave #301, Ocala, FL 34471.
