Vernon Thomas "Tommy" Bonniwell died Monday at a local hospital. He was a native of Nassawadox, Va., and a resident of mobile for the past two years. His survivors include his wife, Tammy Joyner Bonniwell of Mobile; parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Bonniwell of Hurley, Miss., and Mr. and Mrs. R.L. Griggs of Suffolk, Va.; grandmother, Blanch Scott of Onancock, Va., and other relatives. A memorial service will be held Thursday at 6:30pm at Cross of Calvery Church on highway 613 in Hurley. Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
