Verlyn D. "Bienzy" Bienz, beloved husband, father and grandfather, 63, died April 12, 1991 in a local hospital.

Born February 19, 1928 in Bern, Idaho to Rudolph B. and Marintha Derricott Bienz.

Married Lorraine E. Lancaster October 25, 1955; marriage later solemnized in the Jordan River Temple.

He worked at Kennecott, Arthur Mill, as a boiler maker for 34 years. He was an excellent craftsman and handmade many fine items for his family and friend's use and enjoyment.

He was a wonderful caring friend to all and will be missed dearly.

Veteran of the Korean War.

Survived by his wife, Lorraine; daughters, Kathy Bienz, Valerie Dilworth, Lori Alvis; and a son, Gerald Bienz; nine grandchildren; brothers, Darrell, Ray, Wilford.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 12 noon, Magna Central Stake Center, 8181 West 3320 South.

Friends may call at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 West 2700 South, Magna, Monday, 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday, at the church, 11-11:45 a.m.

Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
