Evelyn Mae Cordray, 81, Marceline, MO, died Friday, October29, 2004, at Pershing Memorial Hospital, Brookfield, MO. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, November 2, 2004, at Marceline United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Nancy Smith officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Marceline, MO. Vistation will be held from 6-8 this evening, November 1, 2004, at Delaney Funeral Home, Marceline, MO. Pall-bearers will be Steve Roth, Darin Cordray, Larry Seipel, Dave Bell, Scot Kruse and Brian Haessig. Honorary Pall-bearers will be Bobby Buck, Bob Chowning, Carl Cordray, Don Courtney, Bill Smith and Francis Gucker. Memorials to the Orpha Circle of Marceline United Methodist Church, may be left at or mailed to the Funeral Home. Evelyn was born January 28, 1923, in Marceline, MO, Daughter of Joseph and Nannie (Thomas) Linebaugh. She married Paul Cordray, April 19, 1941, in Marceline, MO.Evelyn was a Homemaker, a Member of Marceline Uniteed Methodist Church, Orpha Circle of the Church, and Narvre. She had been a Marceline resident since 1980, moving from Newton, Kan. Survivers include her Husband, Paul, of the home, in Marceline, MO; 2 Sons and daughter-in-law, Gary and Angela Cordray, of Fort Madison, Iowa, and Terry Cordray, of Lenexa, Kan.; 2 Daughters and sons-in-law. Patsy and Bob Van Pelt, of Inver Grove Heights, Minn., and Linda and Larry Roth, of Newton, Kan.; 8 Grandchildren and their Spouses, Kim and Larry Seipel, Kelly and Dave Bell, Darin and Jill Cordray, Tara and Brian Haessig, Stephanie and Scott Kruse, Steve and Stefanie Roth, Arianne Cordray and Natalie Cordray; and 11 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents; 4 Brothers; and 2 Sisters. Linn County Leader, November 1, 2004.
