ARTHUR ARNOLD OF GLENTANA, MONTANA DIED WEDNESDAY AT PARENTS HOME

Arthur P. Arnold, of Glantana, Montana, died Wednesday morning at approximately ten o'clock, cancer of the throat causing his death. Arthur had been to Rochester, Minn. to consult the Mayo Clinic regarding throat trouble, which had been bothering him for several months, and the trouble was found to be cancer in such an advanced stage that nothing could be done to help him. Arthur came up from Rochester a few weeks ago and had been staying at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. R.C. Arnold, in this village, until the end came.
Deceased was born on August 25, 1893 at Clara City, Minn. and came to Sebeka with his parents when but three years old and grew to manhood here. In 1913 he went to Glentana with his parents where he homesteaded. About two years ago he quit farming to accept a position with the Westland Oil Co., at Glentana. He was married on July 7, 1918 to Anna Horton and three boys were born to this union, namely: Robert, Clayton and William.
Throat trouble had bothered Arthur since last December when he had a serious attack of quinsy, other complications setting in until he lost his voice and cancer developed, which was discovered by examination at Rochester a few months ago. He leaves to mourn his untimely death his wife, three sons, of Glentana; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. R.C. Arnold and his two sisters, Helen and Beatrice, of Sebeka, four brothers, Edward, of Minot, N. Dak.; Howard and Maurice of Glentana; Roland, of Wood Mountain, Sask., Canada.
Deceased was a young man of the highest integrity and manly qualities and will be remembered by the older residents of Sebeka as a bright, cheerful and courteous youth. The bereaved relatives will have the deep sympathy of their many friends in this community.
Funeral services will be held in this village as soon as relatives arrive from Montana, but just what day could not be set when this paper went to press.
