Mrs. Simon Goulet died at her home in this city Sunday morning last, March 23rd, after an illness of nine days from pneumonia. The funeral was held Tuesday morning from the church of the Sacred Heart, Rev. Father Monge officiating. The burial was in St. Lawrence cemetery. The pall bearers were Mr. Ami Plante, Mrs. St. Dennis, Mr. George England, Mr. Joseph St. George, Mr. Gustave St. Martin and Mr. Bushe. Mrs. Goulet was born in St. Rose, Canada, in 1842, and was secenty years of age at the time of her death. In November, 1865, she was married to Simon oulet at St. Gaberiles [sic], de Brandon, Province of Quebec, Canada. In 1870 they came to Faribault to live, and have lived ever since. Mr. Goulet died February 7th of this year. They are survived by six children, three sons and three daughters, Simon Goulet, Jr., Myron, of this city, and Esrom, of Minneapolis; Mrs. Jennie Le Blonce, and Mrs. Emma Lucier, of this city, and Mrs. George Mark, of East Prairie.
