Samuel Thomas "Tommy" Craig, 29, of Greenville passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 due to a brain injury from a severe asthmatic attack. A 2000 Floyd Central High School graduate, Tommy enjoyed fishing and being outdoors especially at Rough River and his adopted creek-front property. His charismatic smile and laughter could light up a room. He loved life and was always ready to help anyone anytime—characteristic of his willingness and pride to be an organ donor. Tommy was born on April 13, 1982 in New Albany, Indiana to Samuel L. Craig and Rhonda K. (Porter) Mangus. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Lindsey Craig of Louisville; stepfather, Steve Mangus; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Friday, June 24, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will be at 11 AM on Saturday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
