Virginia Y. Herndon, 86, of Kingdom City, died Thursday November 28, 1985, at the Callaway Community Hospital.

She was born July 1, 1899 north of Fulton, the daughter of the late Allen and Ida (Berry) Dawson. She was marrid to F.M. "Brish" Herndon, who survives.

She is also survived by a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Mary Annis) Hetherington and a son, Tom A. Herndon, both of Fulton, a brother, William Dawson of Independence, as well as four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceeded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Mrs. Herndon attended local schools and resided in the Richland Community during her married life.

Funeral services will be held at 11am on Saturday at the Maupin Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with the Reverend Raymond McAllister Jr. conducting the services.

Visitation will be at the Maupin Funeral Home on Friday from 7-8pm.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Richland Christian Church.
