Axel Nelson, 84, a native of Barron county, died last Tuesday at the Heath Rest home. Funeral services were held Thursday at the Rausch - Rockman Funeral home in Barron with Rev D A Bottjen officiating and interment was in Joelson cemetery.
Nelson was born Nov 12, 1876, in the town of Sumner but had spent most of his later years at Dallas.
He is survived by three brothers, Melvin and William of Cameron and Otto of Superior and several nieces and nephews.
