Benedict A.H. Young, 82, of Kailua, a retiree of Meadow Gold, died Sunday in Straub Hospital. He was also active in Kailua Senior Citizen Olympics. Born in Honolulu, he is survived by wife Eleanor; sons Benedict Jr. and Clemens; daughters Juanita Hastings, Helen Dodds, Eleanor A.L.K. Hundley and Zena Kama; brother Clemens; 23 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. Services: 11:45 a.m. Monday at Diamond Head Mortuary. Call after 10 a.m. Burial: Diamond Head Memorial Park. Casual attire.
