Funeral services for Ray Bernhardt, 62, of Henrietta, were held Monday, May 24, at the Cowboy Church in Henrietta with the Rev. Larry Miller, pastor, officiating.

Interment was in Hope Cemetery in Henrietta under direction of Davis Funeral Home.

Mr. Bernhardt was born June 27, 1941, in Olney to Pauline (Kunkel) Bernhardt and the late Paul M. Bernhardt. He died Thursday, May 20,2004, in a Wichita Falls hospital.

He and Deanna Brock were married Aug. 20, 1976, in Montague.

Mr. Bernhardt owned and operated Pur-Air in Wichita Falls. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the Cowboy Church in Henrietta.

He was a member of the National Rifle Association and the Bass Master Association.

Survivors include his wife Deanna McGowen Bernhardt of Henrietta; four sons, Brian Brqck and wife Kim of Henrietta, Jason Bernhardt and wife Pam of Piano, Adam Bernhardt of Euless and Leigh Bernhardt of Wichita Falls; his mother, Pauline Bernhardt of Olney; two brothers, Gene Bernhardt and wife Marilyn of Hobbs, N.M. and Larry Bernhardt and wife Beverly of Tulsa, Okla.; a sister, Sharon Robinson of Hobbs, N.M.; and 10 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Brad Brock, in 1982.
