Schwartz, Mrs. Rosa Marie, 85, of King Road, Route 2, Bucyrus, Ohio died Wednesday evening, August 6, 1975, at nine o'clock in Bucyrus Community Hospital. In failing health for the past five years, she was admitted to the hospital on July 24. She was born in Monroe County, January 10, 1890, a daughter of the late John and Louise Christman Ackerman. On March 23, 1916, she was married to Chester S. Schwartz, who died January 25, 1970. She had resided in the Bucyrus area since her marriage. Mrs. Schwartz was a member of the Epsworth United Methodist Church at Bucyrus.
Surviving are one son, Leslie Schwartz, and four daughters, Miss Esther Schwartz; Mrs. Robert (Viola) Weidermaier; Mrs Robert (Leona) Kibler and Mrs. Paul (Lucille) Wagner, all of the Bucyrus area; fifteen grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one grandchild and one brother.
Services were held Saturday afternoon at one o'clock in the Wise Funeral Home at Bucyrus, with the Rev. E. Parker West, pastor of the Epworth United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Epworth United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
