He leaves to mourn his death, a brother, Andrew of Knob Lick and seven children: Mrs. Frank Adams, Ed, Sylvester, and Andrew of Potosi, Mrs. William LaChance of Knob Lick, and John LaChance of Knob Lick Route One. Note: Per the census enumerations that are available the birth year of Alec LaChance is between 1854 and 1856. Please remember that when making comments regarding his father. Without a bible record NOTHING is set in stone. However his age according to his death certificate is 76 years 4 months and 23 days. If you subtract his age at death from his his year of death it comes out with 1857. Year of birth on tombstone is WRONG. Age on death certificate shows 78 years which makes birthdate in 1855.
