Barbara was born July 13, 1939, in Detroit, the daughter of William and Geraldine (Stager) Manke. She was married to Richard Alex Abraham on May 4, 1963 in Detroit. Barbara was employed by the Livonia Observer & Eccentric Newspapers for 28 years, retiring in 2006.
She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, Granny, relative and friend. Surviving are: husband, Richard; children, Richard Jr. (Melanie) Abraham, Heidi (Brian) Tierney, Noelle (Spencer) Brown; six grandchildren, Max and Vince Tierney, Olivia, Jillian and Macy Brown, Ecko Morgan; sister, Geraldine (James) Ruff. She was preceded in death by her parents.
