Glen Roberts, 74, Ozark, died Wednesday, April 28, 1993 at his home. He was born Dec. 16, 1918 in Towanda, Kan., the son of Harry and Nellie Roberts.
He had lived in Christian County for many years. On Oct. 19, 1939, he was united in marriage to Flossie Essick. He retired from MFA Service Center and was a farmer. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Preceding him in death were his parents and a brother, Wade Roberts. Survivors include his wife, Flossie; two sons, Eugene Roberts, and his wife, Lula Bell, and Charles Roberts and his wife, Joyce, all of Ozark; three sisters, Doris Call, Fairfield, Calif., Hazel Essick, Ozark, and Norma Kuhn, Bolivar, a brother, Richard Roberts, Modesto, Calif.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.
Services were held Friday, April 30,in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with the Rev. Clifford Day officiating. Burial was in Highlandville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southwest Missouri.
