Mr. Loveless was born Feb. 9, 1904, in Floyd County, son of the late James Jackson Loveless and Mamie Dutton Loveless. He had been a longtime resident of Floyd County having moved to Polk County 17 years ago.
Mr. Loveless was a retired farmer and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Polly Bobbitt Loveless, Aug. 4, 1972.
Survivors include; a son, James Loveless, Rockmart; a daughter, Mildred Loveless, Cedartown; two brothers, Walton Loveless and Hubert Loveless, both of Rome; two sisters, Annie Gresham and Bomer Gresham, both of Rome; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Heritage Chapel of Jennings Funeral Home with the Rev. Hugh Barrett officiating. Interment will be at the East View Cemetery.
