Edgecomb, Maine vital records list the intentions of marriage between a Benjamin Tilton and a Miss Betsey Hood both of Edgecomb published 22 September 1801. They were married by Rev. Benjamin Chapman on 7 December 1801.
Betsey died in March 1820. Benjamin Tilton, presumably Betsey's widower, and a Miss Elizabeth Doe of Bristol entered their marriage intentions on 4 January 1821. Benjamin Tilton died 8 March 1821.
