Pfc. Gustavo A. Rios-Ordonez, 25, of Englewood, Ohio, died June 20 in Kandahar province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device. He was assigned to the 4th Squadron, 4th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Heavy Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, Kan. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother. He is survived by his wife, Tiffani Rios and daughters Isabella and Elizabeth all of Eaton, OH; parents Gilberto and Diana Rios of Richmond, IN; siblings Jennifer Rios of Richmond, IN; brother Gilbert Rios of Richmond, IN and Victor Rios of Spain; paternal grandparents Gustavo and Olivia Rios of Colombia; father-in-law Phil (Sherrie) Salisbury of Eaton, OH; mother-in-law Diane Salisbury of Eaton, OH; sister-in-law Kimberly (Aaron) Voland of Eaton, OH; brothers-in-law Eddie Salisbury and Jared Stump both of Eaton, OH; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
