Richard A. "Dick" Bath, 70, of 901 Belair Drive, Berwick died 9:40 pm Monday Sept 27, 1999, at his home.

Born in Berwick June 3, 1929 he was the son of the late Roy and Dorothy Bath Naugle.

He graduated from the Berwick High School in 1948. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict serving with the 28th Division and later with the Fifth Army Military Police. He was discharged as a sergeant first class.

He lived at his Berwick address for 11 years and previously at Nescopeck since 1952.

Bath was employed as a clerk with AAP Market for 30 years until retiring.

He was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Nescopeck and formerly served on the church council.

For more than 20 years, he helped with timekeeping for the Berwick football teams.

He enjoyed hunting fishing and activities with his children and grandchildren.

Surviving are his wife, the former Ruth Michael, to whom he was married to for 49 years on Aug 19; two sons: Michael Bath, Bendertown and Rick Bath, Dallas RR4, a daughter Mrs. Don (Susan) Scatena, Berwick and seven grandchildren.

Services will be Friday at 11 am at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Nescopeck with the Rev Jeffrey Odgren, his pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Elan Memorial Park Lime Ridge.
