Mrs. Rita C. Brewer, 71, passed away Monday, May 2, 2005.
A graveside service was held at Kennesaw Memorial Park with the Rev. Jerry McCurdy officiating.
A native of Highland Park, Ill., Mrs. Brewer was a former district manager for Avon. She was a volunteer for the Army Thrift Store and worked for the Augsburg, Germany Girl Scouts Council. She was of the Methodist faith.
Mrs. Brewer is survived by husband Dr. James A. Brewer, Ph.D., of Marietta; daughter Linda Ann Harrison of Powder Springs; son Jimmy Alan Brewer of Marietta; sister Alice Morand of Montgomery, Ala.; brother Clark Crowdus of San Francisco, Calif.; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
