Robert Leroy Honey was stricken after the death of his gifted son 1LT Richard Lance Honey, an F-15 pilot who died in combat over the Plain of Jars in Laos during the VietNam conflict. After his son's death, he wrote a moving poem about his loss. He loved family and wrote the "Bullertin" to provide information on the activities of family members.
