She was born March 17, 1892, in Beaver, Utah, the daughter of Richard Moyes and Eliza Elizabeth Slater Moyes. When she was nine years old, her mother died. She received her schooling in Beaver and grew up there.
She met and married Walter Smith Bagshaw at Beaver, May 18, 1908. They lived in that area until 1924, when he died. Then the family moved to Idaho Falls. She has resided here since.
She married Jacob Langley in 1925. He preceded her in death in 1934. Mrs. Bagshaw was active in the LDS Church, the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, the Ward Singing Mothers in the different Wards where she lived, and worked as a visiting teacher in the Ward Relief Society.
One daughter and two sons preceded her in death. One son, Kenneth Bagshaw, was the first fatality of World War II in this area.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. May Jesperson, Pocatello; Mrs. Charles (Golda) Nokes, Las Vegas, Nev.; two sons, Cecil Langley, Carmichael, Calif.; Walter Bagshaw of Idaho Falls.
Twenty grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren also survive.
