The Death Angel visited the Denton home Sunday night and took away the children's mother, Mrs. Donie Denton. Mrs. Denton had been ill for some time. She was the mother of Harold C. Denton, who passed away Feb. 22. Her son, Henry, is in a hospital at Poplar Bluff. He is too ill to attend her funeral. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock.

Funeral services were held at the Baptist church here at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning, March 10, by Rev. M.A. Massey of Steele for Mrs. Donie Denton, who passed away March 8, at 8:30 o'clock. Her husband, Albert Denton, preceded her in death two years ago. Her son, Harold, also passed away the latter part of February. Mrs. Denton was a good Christian woman and a good neighbor. She will be greatly missed by the entire community. The children and relatives have our sincere sympathy.
