Sulphur — Services for Douglas Worcester, 53, Ardmore, formerly of Ada, are 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Sandy Baptist Church in Sulphur, Rev. Stephen Wall will officiate. The obituary will be read by Robin Fulsom. Burial will follow at Sandy Creek Cemetery. A wake service will be 7 p.m. this evening at 1217 N. Bolton, in Ada, Rev. Toney Buck will officiate.



Mr. Worcester died Saturday, June 18, 2011, at an Ardmore hospital. He was born September 9, 1956, in Talihina, Oklahoma, to Nickolas and Lillian Sealy Worcester.
Mr. Worcester was a cook and a member of Sandy Baptist Church in Sulphur.



Survivors include his wife, Mary Ned of the home; one daughter, Alisha Worcester, Tulsa; four grandchildren, Alvena Worcester, Briana Worcester, Alexia Worcester and Dominic Wallace, all of Tulsa; four sisters, Robin Fulsom and husband, Weldon, Ada, Della Miller and husband, Alvis, Ada, Rose Worcester of Oklahoma City and Geneva Worcester of Oklahoma City; a sister-in-law, Melissa Worcester, Weleetka; two brothers, Nick Worcester, Davis and Edward D. Worcester, Eagle Town; and two uncles, Melvin Worcester, Ada and D.D. Worcester, Lone Grove.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Douglas Worcester; five brothers, Johnny, David, Cleveland, Willard and Gilbert; his maternal grandparents, Gilbert and Caroline Leader Sealy; paternal grandparents, Arlington and Nora Worcester; three uncles, Emerson Sealy, Clifford Sealy and Johnson Jackson; and three aunts, Leora Sealy, Frances Jackson and Ruby Berryhill.



Bearers will be Weldon Fulsom, Edison Sealy, Bobby Sealy, Richard Myers, Ronnie Miller and David Canady.
