Quite a large crowd attended the burial of Mrs. Cora smith at Miler Cemetery Monday afternoon

Mrs. Cora M. Smith
Mrs. Cora M. Smith, 56, sister of Leonard Gilkey of the Albany Chamber of Commerce, died at her home at Gilkey station Saturday evening at 7 o'clock following an attack of pneumonia. Mrs. smith was born in Kansas in 1870 and came with her parents to Oregon when a child, locating on the farm where she spent most of her life. Mr. Smith died seven years ago. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. J. F. Sims of Scio, and three brothers, Leonard and E. F. of Albany, and W. A. Gilkey of Gilkey Station. Funeral services were held at the Christian church in Scio Monday afternoon, Rev. Rex Dallas, pastor of the Albany Christian church officiating and burial was in the Miller cemetery at Shelburn.
